New Employee_Grey_BLOG
We are excited to announce the newest member of The Sheward Partnership team! Grey Fowles, LEED AP has joined TSP as a Sustainability Project Manager to support our sustainability consulting team.

Grey is a LEED Accredited Professional and certified EAp2/EAc1 reviewer for USGBC. He strives to provide clients with a set of tools that allows them to interactively make decisions in real time.

Over the past eight years Grey has worked on some of the most interesting and innovative projects around the world; from one of the greenest skyscrapers, to U.S. Embassy retrofits, net-zero buildings, and large manufacturing facilities. He has collaborated on over 70 LEED energy modeling projects and 20 code compliance models ranging from small commercial, large commercial, manufacturing, multi-family, student dormitories, mixed use, and government facilities. For many of these projects he has created individual sets of interactive energy decision making tools ranging from single one-off building tools, to campus wide energy management tools, and worldwide corporate portfolio management tools. These tools turn data driven results into formats that are visual, quick to understand, and interactive.

For Grey, being an energy consultant and energy modeler is not just about making sure that the results that are being provided are accurate, it is also about empowering people so that they can enact the recommendations that he provides.

In his spare time, Grey likes to hike, backpack, and use his science and art skills to brew excellent tasting beer. He also teaches building science and sustainability classes part time at Northern Arizona University.

Grey has already jumped into complex energy modeling for some of our LEED projects supporting the sustainability team. We are excited to see how his vast experience in the sustainability field and his proficiency in developing tools that work for his clients will spur our team on to new industries and innovative techniques.

Welcome, Grey!
