Dominique moved to Philadelphia in 2015 to pursue her Bachelors of Science in Interior Design at Drexel University. Dominique became interested in interior design when she was growing up as she spent a lot of time at construction job sites with her contractor father. She has a passion for the arts and decided that interior design is the perfect amalgamation of art and construction.
While focusing on academia and working as an interior design intern, she had come to realize she had an interest in sustainability. This interest came after following environmental news, researching climate change and how the built environment has a significant impact on the Earth’s ecological balance. In turn, this led to her studying sustainable design and becoming LEED Green Associate certified in February of 2019. In the future, she plans on pursuing her LEED AP ID+C and NCIDQ certification.
Dominique began her professional career at Stantec in 2017 through Drexel’s co-op program. There she gained experience by working on a multitude of healthcare and higher education projects. After her co-op came to an end and she went back to classes, she worked as a designer for Falcon Enterprises. This entailed AutoCAD drafting and custom designs for offices in New York City. In October of 2018 she started working at L2 Partridge and gained experience in commercial design. We are glad she has chosen TSP for the next chapter of her career.
When Dominique isn’t busy studying, working, or tutoring, she can be found at the gym, training for a half marathon, painting, at a museum, or exploring the city with her friends. You can check out some of her latest abstract art pieces on her website or peruse some of her personal favorites below.
We are excited to see how her passion for art and design will support our architecture and interior design practice.
Welcome, Dominique!
