The Sheward Partnership was commissioned by the School District of Philadelphia to provide LEED and Sustainability Consulting services for the Thurgood Marshall School located in Northeast Philadelphia. The K-8 school was awarded LEED certification under the LEED 2009 for Existing Buildings: Operations & Maintenance Rating System. The Sheward Partnership was also responsible for management of the ENERGY STAR Portfolio Manager process for the facility and continues to track all monthly energy data to ensure compliance with all LEED requirements. The four-story, 114,000 square foot facility was originally constructed in 1997.
