Philadelphia International Airport – American Airlines Terminal F Ticketing, Security Checkpoint & E-F Connector

The Division of Aviation and the City of Philadelphia commissioned The Sheward Partnership to expand and renovate the existing Terminal F, operated by American Airlines.  This $150 million project included a new and expanded Security Screening Checkpoint within the Ticketing building and the conversion of an existing non-secure corridor to a Secure Connector between Terminals E and F.  The checkpoint incorporated the latest security screening equipment and techniques and its new location strategically accommodated access to the new Secure Connector, resulting in full connectivity between PHL’s seven terminals for passengers on the Secure side.  The Ticketing renovations also included new public restrooms, vertical circulation, and a Security Exit Lane.
