The Sheward Partnership was commissioned by University Place Associates to serve as the Architect of Record and Sustainability Consultant for its second commercial office building, 3.0 University Place.

Berman Indictor LLP and U.S. Facilities, Inc. Both Achieved LEED Platinum Certification

Two tenants at 2.0 University Place, a LEED Platinum certified commercial office building in West Philadelphia, recently achieved Platinum certification under the LEED 2009 for Commercial Interiors Rating System.

Bridge

The Sheward Partnership was selected by GLUCK+ Architecture to provide LEED Advisory Consulting Services for 'Bridge' at the corner of Race and 2nd in Philadelphia, PA. The new construction project shall include first floor retail plus 146 residential apartment units. Shared amenities include green roof terrace, fitness center, co-working lounge and gaming room. To achieve a high level of energy efficiency, the building will utilize an innovative heating and cooling system called variable refrigerant flow (VRF) technology. The project anticipates LEED Gold certification under the LEED 2009 for New Construction Rating System.

High School of the Future

The Sheward Partnership was commissioned by the School District of Philadelphia to serve as the Sustainability and LEED Consultant to assist in the LEED certification of the High School of the Future. Brought aboard following construction, The Sheward Partnership was responsible for documenting over half of the LEED credits pursued and coordinating with the U.S. Green Building Council to ensure a smooth and timely certification process. The project was awarded LEED Gold Certification, far exceeding the original goal of LEED Silver, under the New Construction v2.1 Rating System. This was the first LEED Certified project within the School District of Philadelphia.

Jane H. Booker Learning Center

The Sheward Partnership was commissioned by Meridian Health to serve as the LEED Consultant on the new Childcare Center at the Jersey Shore University Medical Center, the Jane H. booker Learning Center. The building combines passive solar design with a modular building construction system. The project was awarded LEED Certification under the LEED for New Construction v2.2 Rating System.
