High School of the Future

The Sheward Partnership was commissioned by the School District of Philadelphia to serve as the Sustainability and LEED Consultant to assist in the LEED certification of the High School of the Future. Brought aboard following construction, The Sheward Partnership was responsible for documenting over half of the LEED credits pursued and coordinating with the U.S. Green Building Council to ensure a smooth and timely certification process. The project was awarded LEED Gold Certification, far exceeding the original goal of LEED Silver, under the New Construction v2.1 Rating System. This was the first LEED Certified project within the School District of Philadelphia.
