The Sheward Partnership was commissioned by Liberty Property Trust to serve as the LEED and Sustainability Consultant on the new 972,000 square foot industrial facility located at 40 Logistics Drive. The Sheward Partnership was responsible for guiding the design and construction team through the LEED process. The project achieved LEED Gold certification under the LEED 2009 for Core & Shell Development Rating System. The building incorporated such sustainable features as a T5 high output lighting system, extensive local materials, and a high level of roof and wall insulation to improve energy performance to 30% above a baseline, code compliant industrial facility.
The Sheward Partnership was commissioned by Liberty Property Trust to serve as the LEED and Sustainability Consultant on two new construction flex industrial facilities at 7460 and 7462 New Ridge Road. Both facilities, 117,500 square feet and 126,000 square feet respectively, shall feature high-performance building elements including T-5 interior lighting, LED exterior building and site lighting, and highly insulated building envelopes. 7460 and 7462 New Ridge Road will pursue a single LEED Gold certification under the LEED 2009 for Core & Shell Development Rating System utilizing the LEED-CS Group Certification Approach as part of the LEED Application Guide for Multiple Buildings and On Campus Building Projects.

The Sheward Partnership is responsible for guiding the design and construction team through the LEED process under the LEED 2009 for Core & Shell Development Rating System. The project will incorporate such sustainable features as T5 high output interior lighting and exterior LED lighting.
The Sheward Partnership was commissioned by Liberty Property Trust to serve as the LEED and Sustainability Consultant on the new 1,700,000 square foot industrial facility located in Shippensburg, Pennsylvania. The Sheward Partnership is responsible for guiding the design and construction team through the LEED process under the LEED 2009 for New Construction Rating System. The project includes advanced battery charging technologies to reduce plug loads. Also, the Project Team combined large areas of vegetated open space on-site with stormwater management controls.
The Sheward Partnership was commissioned by Stantec to serve as the LEED and Sustainability Consultant on the construction of a new regional recycling facility for Waste Management in Northeast Philadelphia. The project is intended to serve as a nationwide model of sustainable design and construction for the Waste Management corporation. The project is LEED Silver certified under the LEED 2009 for New Construction Rating System. To support their educational mission, the project incorporated a large space within the 5,000 square foot office suite dedicated to recycling and sustainability education with a live camera view to the vegetated roof system located on the roof of the office suite.
The Sheward Partnership was commissioned by Liberty Property Trust to serve as the LEED and Sustainability Consultant on the new 800,000 square foot industrial facility located in Lehigh Valley Industrial Park VII. The Sheward Partnership is responsible for guiding the design and construction team through the LEED process under the LEED for Core & Shell Development v4 Beta Program. The project will incorporate LED exterior lighting and remote-access electricity metering technology. New to the LEED v4 Rating System, the construction process included envelope commissioning. Also, every dock door is equipped with electrical hook-up to power tractor trailer HVAC equipment, thereby reducing unnecessary idling.
The Sheward Partnership was commissioned by West Philadelphia Real Estate to provide LEED and Sustainability Consulting Services for the renovation of affordable housing units in the Mantua section of West Philadelphia. The Sheward Partnership provided analysis and project specific sustainability strategies integrating the LEED Rating System with West Philadelphia Real Estate’s progressive approach to sustainable urban housing. Each of the 120 units achieved certification under the LEED for Homes Rating System. Also, the units achieved certification under the ENERGY STAR for Homes Rating System, versions 2 and 3.
The Sheward Partnership was commissioned to provide Sustainability, LEED, and Passive House Consulting Services for the renovation of an historic three story row home in Center City Philadelphia.
The Sheward Partnership was commissioned by The Kendal Corporation to provide LEED and Sustainability Consulting Services for the Kendal at Longwood Expansion Project. All 48 homes in the new development achieved Gold certification under the LEED for Homes Rating System and certification under the ENERGY STAR for Homes v2 Rating System. Tasks include the creation and implementation of green construction and operations policies, assessment of site development strategies, coordination of the integrated design team process, LEED documentation management, and cost benefit analysis of incremental energy efficiency strategies.
